SPRING FUNDRAISNG UPDATE

There have been several wonderful fundraising opportunities this spring to benefit Kelsey's Legacy-Kelsey's Scholarship & Kelsey's Bridge fund.  All of which could not be possible without the tremendous support of family, friends and the community.  With the Spring Events we raised $4500 and with all the fundraiser events to date we have raised over $35,000. We are so very grateful for all that you have done and continue to do to honor Kelsey's Legacy.........

We want to share a recap of the spring fundraising activities:

Spring Thaw - Our participation at the Spring Thaw event this year was organized by Dave Greene, the dad of Patrick & David, two OJR students and friends of Kelsey.  Kelsey's Legacy partnered with  Wildcat Lacrosse at this event to promote the Forever Strong apparel.  The event was successful raising $410.   We are very grateful to Dave for his idea and  Mark Bevevino and  Wildcat Lacrosse for support of Kelsey's Legacy at this event.

Spring Fling- We participated in the Spring Fling event this year to promote the Forever Strong apparel.  We are very  grateful to Coventry Youth  Girls "Wildcat" Lacrosse  for the opportunity to be part of this wonderful event and to raise $480.

OJR Volleyball Event was coordinated by OJR senior,Nick Daniels & friend of Kelsey. The event included over 14 teams competing in a tournament series of games with participation from both Owen J Roberts students and teachers. Many came out to support this fun filled night and to cheer on their favorite team.  This event was a great success raising $750 .  A very special thank you to Nick for his idea and for OJRHS administration for supporting this idea.

KLK Cut-A-Thon was coordinated by Amanda Keck, a former OJR student, soccer player & friend of Kelsey's.  The event was hosted by Pulse Beauty Academy, a Paul Mitchell School, in Downingtown. Many showed in support of the fun filled day of activities which included hair cuts, purple feather extensions, baked goods and forever strong apparel for sale. The event was a great success raising $1400.  We are very grateful to Amanda & Terri Keck, Heather & Adam Sahagian and the entire Pulse Academy staff.

CRADLE FOR KELSEY was coordinated by two of Kelsey's friends from OJR, Kevin Hoffman & Aubrey Steuber.  The Cradle for Kelsey event drew a lot of support to watch the OJRHS Boys & Girls lacrosse teams compete against each other. A fun competition was enjoyed by all that night. The event was very succesful in raising $1400.  A very special thank you to Kevin & Aubrey for this wonderful event, OJRHS administration's support and the OJR Boys & Girls Lacrosse teams.

Please consider supporting the Fundraising event going on now and until July 17th at the Kimberton Cafe in Kimberton Whole Foods, Kimberton PA.  Please see the flyer on the website for details.  A very special thank you to the Greenblatt Family for a wonderful idea and for coordinating this fundraising event to benefit Kelsey's Legacy.
