Kelsey's Bridge Update
Kelsey's Bridge project is coming to closure thanks to the committment and efforts of so, so many people. The stone wall and walkway was completed recently led by the efforts of Phil Santangelo and Fred Minahan along with many other volunteers. The creation of the bridge has been completed and the bridge has been moved over to Bethel Grove and is being assembled by the Wynns. The landscaping began this week with the area being graded and prepped so the planting and can begin. We are having a planting day on Saturday, Sept 15th. As of now, we have 3 professional landscapers for the day who have volunteered their time so we are hopeful that with these "experts" that they will be able to do the majority of the planting most efficiently under the coordination of a landscape architect. We also have a few volunteers identified so far for Saturday afternoon. We are hopeful that we will get the majority of the planting done on Saturday but we may need additional volunteers on Sunday to complete the mulching and landscaping efforts.
Anyone interested in volunteering, we are asking that you please bring your own gloves, shovel as well as rake and to come to Bethel Grove at Bethel Church anytime after 12 noon. If you are interested or have questions, please feel free to contact Lori Kramer at kramerl60@yahoo.com. Thank you to everyone for your continued support of the project.
