October 8th… Your
birthday, Kels. ❤️🎈
Thirty-two years ago today, our lives changed forever when we
were blessed with the most precious gift — you, our beautiful daughter, Kelsey Lynn.
The day you came into our lives, it was as though a star dropped
from the sky and lit a flame in our hearts. And that flame grew brighter with
every passing year.
We watched you grow, we watched you discover who you were, and
we watched you accomplish so many wonderful things. We are so incredibly proud
of you — not just for what you accomplished, but for who you were.
You brought so much love, laughter, happiness and light into our
lives. The memories we made with you are treasures we will hold onto forever.
Even though we cannot celebrate your 32nd birthday with you the
way we always dreamed we would, we will never stop celebrating you.
We can't help but wonder who you would be today… What
would you be doing? What dreams would you be chasing? What adventures would you
be having?
I can picture you so clearly — a confident, beautiful, amazing
young woman, accomplishing incredible things and making your mark on the world.
And knowing how much you loved your birthday, I just know you
would have had something special planned for this one! 🎂🎉
You also loved your balloons, so today we are sending a sky full
of them to you. 🎈🎈🎈 We hope they find
their way to heaven and remind you just how very loved you are.
Today isn't only about the sadness of missing you. It's about
celebrating the incredible gift of your
life and all the love and happiness you brought to everyone
fortunate enough to know you.
Your light is still shining, Kels. It lives in our hearts, in
our memories, in the stories we tell, and in the love that will never end.
